Sundo was founded in 2021 by three childhood friends from Belgium. Motivated by the alarming statistics, they set out to change the global outlook on UV prevention. Launching a public health startup in the middle of a global pandemic wasn’t easy, but the urgency was clear.

Their solution was the development of the world's first smart sunscreen dispensers, designed to provide free sunscreen in public spaces.

Starting from a modest setup in a backroom of a pharmacy in Ghent, their initiative quickly gained traction.

Sundo has now expanded its presence to over 1.000 locations across 8 countries, including partnerships with major events and brands. Millions of people use our dispensers each year, setting the standard in bringing sunscreen to the people.

Powered by a growing core team of 10 people, backed by over 100 Sundudes and Sundudettes who hit the road each summer to install and support dispensers across Europe.
